Canso was founded in 1987 with three employees; in fact, two original technicians are still apart of the team today!

In 2019, Canso Auto joined Maxquip. As a distributor of Alternative Fuels conversion equipment, and having an existing relationship with Canso Auto, Maxquip saw an opportunity to add a conversion facility in their range of services.

With a strong history of equipment distribution and a strong proponent in the value of Alternative Fuels technologies, Maxquip welcomed Canso Auto with the goal of delivering high quality services and products to the Alternative Fuels industry. Canso Auto also became the facility for hands-on in-house development of new Alternative Fuels products and technologies.
